TAC at BMW Group in Unterschleißheim

The first Technical Advisory Council (TAC) this year took place at the beginning of this week. Hosted by the BMW Group at its training center in Unterschleißheim, various topics were presented, discussed and new impulses were set over the two days.

In particular, we addressed the following topics on the joint agenda:

• the latest functions and innovations of the AutomationML Editor,
• the AML4JSON working group presented the final results of their work – publication of these results will soon take place!
• the Formal Description for AutomationML (FD4AML) working group gave an update on their work, which develops an ontology that supports the use of SHACL to validate the correctness of AutomationML models in relation with the standard,
• the work on the representation of the new data model of the DEXPI initiative Process in AutomationML was presented and emphasizes the broad application possibilities of AutomationML,
• the currently developed submodel templates from the DIAMOND-Projekt were also presented – corresponding Application Recommendations will also be released soon!
  

Stimulating discussions, great results and a lot more ahead of us – it remains exciting…
