We are pleased to welcome the project partners for the first working meeting of the DIAMOND project here in Magdeburg on February 15th and 16th, hosted by the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg – Chair of Production Systems and Automation.
The DIAMOND project is dedicated to the upcoming transformation and the associated changes in the German automotive and supplier industry resulting from the increasing penetration of digitalisation. The aim is to create end-to-end, data-based solutions for the creation, transmission and use of digital twins in the plant design process, with particular emphasis on neutrality and scalability. The AutomationML association is an associated partner of the DIAMOND project that will provide additional domain specific AML based data models to be used within engineering software environments.
The project is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK).
More information can be found on the DIAMOND website or on the project’s LinkedIn profile.
